According to the last lesson we have just discussed in school, studies show that the Earth really has the capacity to support or sustain all of its inhabitants. Yes, even billions of them! But what we always seem to forget is that what we borrow from Mother Nature must also be returned. This is just comparable to a bank that gives loans. It can loan as many account holders it has but will reach bankruptcy once the debt's weren't returned. In short, what we do to all our natural resources becomes abusive. Men keep on getting without returning. And what is worse? We transform these resources into something even harmful to the environment and the health of mankind.
There is no wonder why extreme hunger and poverty exist. Nature needs to be restored, and this is what we call sustainable development. We shall allot time for the natural resources be restored and only when there is a sufficient supply can we get again. The cycle repeats. It must not end in getting.
Now, with all the millions of people starving to death and rummaging the dumpsters for food, do you think it is too late to put into action the sustainable development or the natural resources?
I'd be glad if you answer this question that I will leave you for now. Also, I would like to share to you this quote I've read somewhere and let you ponder on this: "The Earth can supply every man's NEED, but not everyone's GREED."
